About the program:
A drop-off, team-work-focused enrichment program for homeschoolers in and around Tacoma! A homeschooling program that is drop-off, collaborative focused and interdisciplinary. This 3.5 hour homeschool enrichment program hosted at The Co-Lab is for ages 8- 12 in which learners will engage in group activities that are fun, collaborative and encourage critical thinking. Every day there will also be a Language arts or Fine Art tie-in in which students will dive deeper on their project based learning and work on skills in writing and creative expression.

About the program facilitator:
Classes will be led by educator and theatre professional Emily Lafferty. With a masters degree in Education and specialized training in the pedagogy of “Mantle of the Expert”, Emily has dreamed of starting a learning center that uses this style of education to cultivate independence, critical thinking and positive team work culture among homeschoolers.
