WINTER GARLAND

Create a pattern of dried orange slices, cinnamon scented pinecones & clothes pins strung on twine make for festive window or wall décor! Add tree clippings or pin holiday cards or photos for an extra special touch.

Tip: Tape or glue the end of the yarn to make it easier to thread through the pieces.

CHARLIE BROWN TREE

Explore different evergreen trees to incorporate in this homemade arrangement. Recycle a paper towel tube and cut the bottom into slits to fasten (staple, glue or tape) to a sturdy carboard round.

Tip: use a scrap piece of fabric as a tree skirt, string yarn and mini ornaments or paint your cardboard for an added layer.

CLAY & FIR TREE

Air dry clay formed into a tree shape on a sturdy cardboard round, holds clippings of various evergreen trees and mini pinecones. Add a festive tree topper or other pops of color. Incorporate rosemary for a scented experience.

Tip: certain clay can stain. Be sure to have a safe surface and apron on hand.

LEAF WREATH

With a colorful mix of fall and winter foliage, glue pieces onto a sturdy cardboard round. Use as a table centerpiece or secure on the wall in wreath-like fashion.

PINECONE TURKEY

Turkey is always a good idea. Secure a pinecone on a piece of air dry clay or playdough. Tuck feathers into the lower back side and add a touch of orange for the beak.

Tip: hot glue on googly eyes or use the paper feathers to write out what you are most thankful for this year.
